Awards Presented to the Winners of Halkbank’s Producing Women Entrepreneurs Competition

The fifth edition of Halkbank’s Producing Women Entrepreneurs Competition was held this year, with the awards presented at a ceremony organized on February 13, 2026, at Halkbank Towers in the Istanbul Finance Center.

The award ceremony, held at Halkbank Towers in the Istanbul Finance Center, was attended by the Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş; Istanbul Governor Davut Gül; Deputy Ministers of Family and Social Services and National Education; Ümraniye District Governor Yüksel Çelik; Ümraniye Mayor İsmet Yıldırım; members of parliament; and many invited guests.

Recognized as one of the most prestigious organizations in the women’s entrepreneurship ecosystem, the ceremony honored winners in several categories, including Producing Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, Technology-Based Woman Entrepreneur, Zero Waste and Sustainability, Rising Star, and Women’s Cooperative. In addition, the Alev Alatlı Special Award, presented in memory of one of Türkiye’s distinguished writers, was also given to its recipient. Alongside cash prizes, the winners also received in-kind awards in the form of advertising and promotional support.

The jury, composed of Presidential Social and Youth Policies Board Member and Social Gastronomy Chef Ebru Baybara Demir; Enstitü Sosyal General Coordinator İpek Coşkun Armağan; Jülide Konukoğlu, Founding Partner of AJK Tekstil’s Kutnia brand; SEDEFED President and TÜRKONFED Vice President Emine Erdem; Sümeyye Ceylan, Vice President of the Turkish Green Crescent Society and Founder and General Manager of Usturlab; Elif Çoban, Board Member of Şölen Çikolata; Işıl Boy Ergül, Founder of TeacherX and the Education Technologies Summit; Ezgi Turanlı, Deputy Chairwoman of the Board of Taşyapı İnşaat; and Didem Dilara Alp, Head of Halkbank Entrepreneur Banking Department, evaluated the applications based on key criteria such as contribution to the economy, sustainable financial structure, employment growth, and social benefit.
